Job Description:
The Analyst, Business Strategy & Monetization, will play a key role in designing strategic and
profitable investment plans for RYOT Studio content programs. This role sits within the Sales & Strategy
team, working collaboratively with Sales Specialists, Creative Directors, Legal, Yield Management and
Product Ops. This role reports directly into the Director of Monetization.
Responsibilities:
● Lead the day-to-day aspects of media plan development to ensure deals are priced, structured
and negotiated to comply with RYOT Studio’s policies and processes
● Function as a point of contact and subject matter expert to the Sales organization on all matters
related to pricing, deal economics and structure at specific budget thresholds
● Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Sales, Product and Operations on non-standard
transactions
● Adjust modeling based on industry trends (e.g. seasonality) and an understanding of the digital
media and branded content competitive landscape
● Work across various Oath analytic teams for buy in on growth models for new initiatives
● Self-educate on forward thinking analytic modeling and industry trends. Introduce new
technologies and experiences to further the mission of the team
● Work closely with Product Leads to monitor new product rollouts, ensuring launch OKRs are
met/exceeded
● Perform current trend research and analyzes simple data to assist in drawing conclusions and
providing recommendations on product roadmap and pricing.
● Assist management team with process improvements, special projects, etc.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience required.
● Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a pricing, finance, account management or digital media
analytics role (or related)
● Strong knowledge of Excel
● Strong professional maturity and ability to develop relationships and work cross-functionally with
multiple internal stakeholders
● Team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and desires to work directly with
external clients
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
