Technical Recruiter

The Technical Recruiter will lead recruiting efforts for assigned hiring managers and departments and guide applicants through the process from initial contact to day of hire. Successful candidates have superior communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and the commitment to providing a seamless experience for internal clients and top talent alike.

Responsibilities:​
  • Source, recruit and hire top talent to meet the needs of our growing organization
  • Partner with hiring managers and guide them through the hiring process
  • Evaluate the skill level and overall fit of applicants against hiring managers needs through resume screening, phone interviews and in person interviews
  • Maintain communication with and provide excellent customer service to candidates as they go through the Verizon Digital Media Services hiring process
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help source qualified and diverse candidates
  • Plan and execute recruiting events such as career fairs, informational sessions, open-houses, etc.
  • Help coordinate the interview process with hiring manager and candidates to ensure a smooth process
  • Prepare reports and track recruiting metrics
  • Propose and assist with the implementation of improvements to talent acquisition processes

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 year of experience in a fast-paced recruiting environment as a recruiter, sourcer or coordinator
  • Broad research ability and thorough understanding of all things internet
  • Professionalism, tenacity and spunk
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Tech expertise a plus
  • Excel experience a plus
