TalEx is partnering with a media services organization to identify several C++ Developers for contract roles in Sunnyvale, CA.  

As a Senior Engineer based out of our clients offices, you will help them build and maintain new technology for Premium display advertising systems. You will play a critical role as part of the core engineering team for advertising at our client, and the systems you build will be secure, performant, and scalable for millions of users, worldwide. You enjoy designing complex systems, new languages and diving into nascent codebases, ask thoughtful questions, and are unafraid to share what you don’t know, so that you can learn something new. •    8+ years of experience in building large scale, complex internet platforms and systems

•    Very Strong C++ coding skills and problem solving skills

•    Strong object oriented design skills and algorithms

•    Strong Application Design, high-level systems implementation

•    Demonstrated your ability to learn and be adaptable to legacy and new technologies

•    Strong performance tuning capabilities including knowledge of OS level constructs - memory, CPU, threading etc.

•    Experience designing and building platforms that scale to millions of users is a plus

•    Expertise designing and building systems using client and server technologies on linux

•    Knowledge of Low-level protocols (Http, TCP, SSL etc)

•    Exposure to Advertising and related technologies and platforms is a plus.

•    Familiarity with CI/CD, test driven development and have worked in a Agile development processes.

•    Successfully worked with teams to develop, deploy, and maintain complex features and functionality on integrated platforms.
